Blossom belongs to a generation of teachers who carry lineage not as a weight, but as a living, breathing thing.
I met Blossom at a time when my teaching had become very serious. Structured, disciplined, precise — all things I valued and had worked hard to build. But somewhere along the way the work had lost its lightness. It was starting to feel like a repetition of itself, and I was craving something that reminded me why I fell in love with it in the first place.
Meeting Blossom gave me that back. The intensity was still there — if anything, her eye for the smallest compensation is sharper than almost anyone I have trained with. But there was laughter in the room. There was play. There was an authenticity that made you feel completely free to meet yourself exactly where you were, without apology and without performance.
"She can make anything that's hard enjoyable. Anything confusing, clear. Anything doubtful, valuable — simply by the way she shows up for you in the work."
She has a rare quality: she doesn't teach to impress. She teaches to liberate. She cares far more about you finding the real movement than about looking like you're doing it correctly. That combination — demanding precision and genuine warmth — is something I hadn't encountered quite like this before.
She is, without question, one of my bigger sisters in this industry. And getting to know her work is one of the gifts I most want to pass on.
Inside IVA you will find Blossom's recorded workshops — her teaching, her humor, her extraordinary eye for the detail that changes everything. You will watch her take the most demanding material in the repertoire and make it feel alive. You will hear her think. And very likely, you will laugh.
What she offers is a reminder that mastery and playfulness are not opposites. That you can be absolutely precise without being rigid. That your clients can work harder than they thought possible and enjoy every moment of it — because the teacher in the room made it feel safe to try, to fail, and to find it.
If you want to defy the odds and bring more light into your mastery, get to know Blossom. I wish you the joy, the precision, and the laughter she has brought into my own journey.
