This presentation explores the gap between knowing and doing — why Pilates practitioners intellectually understand what they should be doing to grow their business, but struggle to put it into practice.
The program unfolds in four parts:
- Naming the Gap — Recognizing that “I know it, but I don’t do it” is a specific and normal stage of the journey, not a personal failure.
- Why the Gap Exists — Real change requires three levels: the cognitive (understanding the why), identity (becoming someone new), and the body (the habits repeated in everyday life). Knowledge lives in only one place, while change requires all three.
- Where It Shows Up for You — Identifying six common patterns of self-sabotage: over-preparing, dreaming without moving forward, losing interest at the right moment, starting strong without finishing, giving more than what is asked, and copying what others are doing. Each pattern hides a specific limiting belief.
- What Changes This Year — The introduction of Accountability Check-Ins and Leadership Coaching, providing an outside perspective to help identify the pattern while it is happening, because old habits are, by nature, difficult to see in ourselves.
Core message: A belief becomes a pattern, the pattern becomes a habit, and the habit eventually shapes our identity — creating an endless loop. This loop cannot be broken simply by knowing it exists, but through repeated action, supported by an outside perspective.
Conclusion: The session ends with a personal reflection — “What are you going to change?” — and announces what comes next the following day: “Your Contract with Yourself.”
