The Hard Way First
I was a great teacher. And I was disappearing.
I was deeply undercharging, invisible in the market, and quietly exhausted by a gap I couldn't name. Nobody prepared me for the part that comes after the certification. Nobody does.
For years I tried to belong to someone else's legacy — to carry their method, their name, their approval. I was skilled, devoted, and slowly losing myself inside all of it. It cost me years I will not get back.
The day I said no to the structure that no longer fit — I lost community, position, and safety. But for the first time, I did not lose myself. Everything that followed — IVA, the Groundness Method, the Inner Circle, the book — was built from that moment.
Body first. Identity second. Business third. In that order, for a reason — because when the career comes, it needs to be built on something that holds. I am not a cheerleader. I will not tell you what you want to hear. I will show you what you are carrying — and I will not let you keep hiding from it.
